FAQ
Problem: can't connect to the Internet, try this "triple-procedure"
"Reset DSL Line" + "Reboot" (web browser userinterface) + "Hard Boot" (shutdown modem for a minute, start modem, wait at least for a minute). Actually, the "Apply as Default Gateway" setting seems to be important.
Problem: Internet connection lost (when Ethernet cable plugged/unplugged)
If you connect or disconnect an Ethernet cable you lose connection. Workaround: turn off ZyXEL, connect/disconnect cable and turn on ZyXEL and reconnecting to the Internet might be faster.
Problem: Internet connection lost (when WLAN turned on/off)
If you turn on/off WLAN you lose connection. Workaround: enable/disable WLAN, then turn off ZyXEL and turn it back on and wait for the Internet connection to become available again.
Tip: try to turn on/off WLAN using a web browser instead of pressing the physical WLAN button.
Problem: MacBook Pro and WLAN
Use channel 11 for WLAN.

Manual advises to allow popups, JavaScript and Java in your browser, but seems to work fine with popups blocked with Firefox 21 (OS X 10.8) (6/2013).
