It was our goal to build phones that set standards in every respect with the Gigaset SL450 series. The award for "Best Product of the Year 2015" proves that we are on the right track: The SL450 is the perfect phone for the experts of the renowned "Plus X Award".  With the new Gigaset SL450HX universal handset, you can operate it directly on your router with an integrated DECT base station (with or without CAT-iq 2.0) and make IP-based calls in the usual quality.

High quality materials

The aluminium frame in combination with its masterly workmanship is a luxury for hand and eye. Thanks to precisely worked out surface and shape progressions, it fits perfectly in the hand. The keys with their precise pressure points also bear witness to the attention to detail with which the Gigaset SL450HX was designed.

Large TFT colour display

It is hard to believe that such a handy phone can have such a large display at the same time. This is only possible if the display makes perfect use of the phone's size. This allows you to enjoy a clear user interface and brilliant colours that match the phone's exterior design.

Extensive address book

With 500 entries and 3 phone numbers, the address book offers enough space for the largest circle of friends and family. It can also automatically remind you of the birthdays of your contacts. And with the VIP call function you can give priority to certain callers.

Universal connection options

You can conveniently connect the Gigaset SL450 HX directly to your PC via micro USB or Bluetooth. This opens up a wide range of options for customizing your phone: For example, by uploading personal ringtones and pictures for the caller display with picture (Picture-CLIP).

Bluetooth is available as a cordless version and a 2.5 mm jack for conventional headsets.

Registering handsets directly on the router is becoming increasingly popular: Gigaset HX universal handsets work perfectly with routers such as the Fritz!Box as well as with routers based on the CAT-iq standard - e.g. with Telekom's Speedports, O2's Homebox 2 or TP-LINK routers. They are therefore predestined for VoIP telephony of the routers. The models of the new HX series offer demanding customers who value design, quality "Made in Germany" and functionality in telephony an alternative to the system handsets of the router manufacturers.

Easy to use comfort functions

When operating a handset directly on a router, numerous comfort functions are available, which are operated by the new HX series models. In particular, access to the router's telephone book, to dial lists of incoming, outgoing or missed calls and the operation of a router-internal answering machine are top priorities for the customer. The interaction of router and handsets is regulated by different standards and protocols depending on the manufacturer. The special feature of Gigaset HX handsets is that they can use all protocols of the relevant router models across the board.

Brilliant HD-Voice voice quality

Voice quality is particularly important for IP-based telephony: The handsets in the HX line are HD Voice (High Definition Voice) certified and transmit VoIP calls with crystal-clear wideband voice quality. This results in a particularly natural sound image with brilliant voice quality for the customer.

Simply register

Gigaset HX universal handsets can be registered on routers just as easily as they can be registered on Gigaset's own base stations by activating the "Registration" function in the phone's menu. A glance at the relevant operating instructions will tell you what you need to do on the router side.
